The combination of Doc O'Lena and Gay Bar King is a proven one for performance horses; the maternal grand sire of World Champion, Smart Chic Olena, is Gay Bar King, and Doc O'lena is the paternal grandsire. Playboy Sanjoe's maternal grandsire is also Gay Bar King, and Doc O'Lena is the paternal grandsire of his father. Playboy Sanjoe also shares the common ancestor San Sue Darks, dam of Leo San (sire of Peppy San, Mr San Peppy, and Joe San, maternal grandsire of My Lady Gay Bar) with Smart Chic Olena and Grays Starlight, as well as many other champion sires.

Playboy Sanjoe has been started on cattle but has enough size, speed and stop that we are moving him to the roping events. He has the athleticism and heart of his sire, and the conformation, good looks, and class of his dam.

Sanjoe's dam, My Lady Gay Bar, was a big, beautiful gray mare with an impeccable cowhorse pedigree. She is the dam of High Class Hickory, a gray mare with over $27,000 NCHA earnings. She is also the dam of Open Box Rafter Ranch broodmare, CJ Lady Gay.
