When we purchased Sonny Sugar a number of years ago, he did several great things for our program, not the least of which was causing us to find the best mares we could to breed to him. We thought Sonny would cross well with Spedita Drift, and are thankful to our friends, the Hendersons of Dry Box Performance Horses for allowing us to lease her and get this fine stallion. Diego has fulfilled our expectations. He's bright, golden buckskin with class, style and cowhorse breeding. He rides very well and is started in the heeling showing a lot of cow.
